The birth date ranges for Junior Gold 16 and Junior Gold are the following:
You will notice there is an overlap for the 2005-2007 birth dates. Please register your player for the level you feel they would best compete this upcoming season.
We will open registration for both levels of Junior Gold and Junior Gold 16 this fall. However, until we have complete registration numbers, we are unable to determine ahead of time if we will have enough players to support both levels. As soon as we reach this decision point based on the number of players registered we will provide a clear direction on the teams participating in both Junior Gold and Junior Gold 16. The objective is to field two teams (one Junior Gold 16 and one Junior Gold). If numbers dictate, we could end up with U16s playing on Junior Gold.
In the event of there not being enough players registered and some skaters not being placed on a Junior Gold 16 or Junior Gold team, the FYHA registration fee will be refunded. USA Hockey Registration Fees are non-refundable and out of the control of FYHA.
