Welcome to Pony Hockey
Pony Hockey will start December 5th. We have two different color jerseys, black and white . We have divided all our skaters into 4 groups. White 1 and White 2. Orange 1 and Orange 2. Group 1 will skate at 3:15 and Group 2 will skate at 4:30. All ice is at Schmitz Maki arena in Farmington.
Some frequently asked questions over the past 7 years:
1. Does my child need to be able to skate? Yes, we require that your child be able to skate from one side of the rink to the other. Doesn't have to be fast, doesn't have to be pretty, but we would very much like it if we didn't have to carry them around the ice.
2. What equipment does my child need?
Skates, helmet, hockey gloves, stick (need to figure out what hand they are) hockey pants aka breezers, shoulder pads, elbow pads, shin guards. Please look online for most of this stuff used. It's out there!
4. What day/time is practice?
Always on Sunday. Please check the schedule on this page.
5. Can I coach?
YES! and we would love to have you. Please fill out the link below and I will be in contact with you. We are in need of around 7-9 coaches on the ice.

6. Is my child on a "team?"
Not in the sense that upper level teams are on a team. We are all on the Pony team. There are 2 different colors that we divide the kids up into. There is not a head coach or assistant coach for each color. Rather everyone is helping all the players as they learn, grow and navigate this great game.
