Tigers Edge Goalies

Instructions

GOALIE DEVELOPMENT Challenge

  • Improve your agility, balance, coordination and focus by spending 14 weeks dedicated to these off-ice activities!
  • The GOAL: Improved agility, balance, coordination and focus
  • The PLAN: Focus on weekly off-ice activities to stay active in the off season
  • WEEKLY GOAL: 15 min/day, 5 days/week = 75 min/week
  • DAILY GOAL:15 min/day

  • THE PROGRAM
  • The instructional videos are originally designed for a 10 week challenge but we have transitioned the 10 week challenge into a 8 week challenge so don't be confused.
  • The exercises require minimal equipment so they can be done at home
  • Start slow to get the hang of each movement. Increase speed of activity as you get comfortable with the movement and positioning.
  • Focus on your technique. Don’t just go through the motions.
  • Plan ahead for days that you can't practice, stay focused and be accountable.

  • TRACKING YOUR PROGRESS
  • Players must track their activity on the Goalie Development tracking sheet
  • Submit completed tracking sheet no earlier than August 29th.
  • Twitter links to goalie activities are provided by twitter.com/EGFgoalies. See links below
